Terms & cancellations

How quotes, bookings, cancellations and complaints work with YSE Renovations Ltd. Your written quote and booking confirmation set out the specific terms for your job.

Using this website

The information on this site is a general description of our services. It is not an offer or a price. Examples and illustrations show the type of work we do. Please don't copy our logo or content without permission.

Quotes

  • Quotes are free and given in writing. Each quote lists the work included, labour, materials, exclusions, estimated duration and payment stages.
  • A quote is valid for the period stated on it, usually 30 days.
  • Quotes are based on what we can see and the information you give us. If hidden problems appear, such as damaged plaster or an uneven subfloor, we stop and explain. Extra work only goes ahead with your written approval.

Bookings and payment

A job is booked once we've both confirmed the scope and date in writing. Any deposit or materials payment is explained before you book and shown on your quote. We send an itemised invoice when the work is finished.

Cancelling a booking

If you're a consumer and you agree a booking with us at your home or by phone, email or WhatsApp, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. We'll give you full details and a cancellation form with your booking confirmation.

  • If you ask us to start work within the 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the work done up to that point.
  • Materials ordered specially for your job, such as paint mixed to your colour or flooring cut to size, may not be refundable once ordered. We'll tell you before ordering them.
  • To cancel, contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email. Any refund due is paid within 14 days.

If something isn't right

Tell us as soon as possible and we'll come back to look at it. We'll fix genuine snagging issues with our workmanship promptly and agree any aftercare in writing. If we can't agree, you can contact Citizens Advice for help.
