We check the wall first
Render only lasts if the wall behind it is sound. Before we quote, we look for cracks, damp, loose or hollow render and anything that needs fixing first, and we tell you what we find.
Your quote sets out the preparation, the render and finish we'll use, how corners and edges will be finished, any access equipment, and whether painting is included.
Planned around the weather
Render can't go on in frost or heavy rain, and it needs time to cure. We plan rendering for suitable weather and will move dates rather than rush a job in poor conditions.

Rendering FAQs
Can you render in winter?
Only on suitable days. Render shouldn't be applied in frost, very cold weather or heavy rain, so winter jobs depend on the forecast. Spring to early autumn is usually best.
Do I need planning permission to render my house?
Often not for a house, but you may need permission in a conservation area, on a listed building, or for a flat. Check with your council before booking. We're happy to talk it through.
Can you repair just part of the render?
Yes. We cut out cracked or hollow areas and re-render them. New render can look slightly different until the wall is painted, so we'll talk you through matching it.
